Town Hall chambers Passau
Splendid paintings grace the walls and ceilings of Passau’s Town Hall chambers, which have been preserved in the Baroque style. Painter Ferdinand Wagner created the historical pictures, which, in addition to the wedding of Emperor Leopold I, depict a scene from the Song of the Nibelungs, an epic poem believed to have been written in Passau.
