Michael’s Gate Bratislava
Michael’s Gate Bratislava
The elegant onion dome on the roof of Michael’s Gate is one of the landmarks of the city of Bratislava. The gate dating to the 14th century is the only preserved gate from the city’s fortifications and today houses the Weapons Museum. From the top terrace of the 51-metre tower above Michael’s Gate, you can enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the Castle, the Old Town, the city’s roofs and towers as well as a villa district situated on the foothills of the Little Carpathian Mountains. The museum can be visited daily except for Monday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
