More than 30,000 glasses, of which over 15,000 are on display, provide a comprehensive overview of the various eras of Bohemian glass art from 1650 to 1950, from the Baroque to the modern era. The famous Swiss playwright Friedrich Dürrenmatt titled the Passau Glass Museum "The Most Beautiful Glass House in the World".
