Glass Museum Passau
Glass Museum Passau
Passau’s Glass Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of glass from Bavaria, Bohemia, Silesia and Austria. More than 30,000 pieces of glass, over 15,000 of which are on display, offer a comprehensive overview of the various epochs of Bohemian glass work from 1650 to 1950, from the Baroque to Modernism. Famous Swiss playwright Friedrich Dürrenmatt called Passau’s Glass Museum ‘the loveliest collection of glass in the world’.
