Discover Austria’s oldest city, Roman times, the Middle Ages, the recent recipient of the Cittàslow award; let Laurios, Enns’ mascot, take you on a tour, and storm our city’s landmarks on a visit to its three towers. Enns inspires visitors with a wide range of interesting sites. Scale the 60-m free-standing city tower from the 16th century, which dominates the skyline. Visit newly renovated Ennsegg Castle or one of the many historic churches, including St. Mary’s Parish Church and Wallseer Chapel, the Basilica of St. Lawrence and the evangelical parish church. The Upper Austrian provincial exhibition ‘The Return of the Legion’, which focuses on Rome’s legacy in Upper Austria in the towns of Enns, Schlögen and Oberranna, is being held in 2018.
